CB: Power to the Player
The story
We produced a short documentary about CB Claiborne, the first Black athlete at Duke University. We filmed on Duke's campus, researched the Duke archives and national archives, and brought Duke students onto the project to help with archival research and on-set production.
The film premiered at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival and screened at SXSW EDU. A feature-length documentary is now in development.
